Microcontrollers for Microwave Ovens

Microwave ovens employ microwave radiation to cool or heat food by moving water, fat and sugar molecules. Recently, superheated steam ovens have been the subject of much public fanfare. Since they remove excess fat and salt from food, they are popular as a healthier way of cooking. Microcontrollers are used for IGBTs to drive magnetrons, and for controlling the amount of heat and operation panels.

The Basic Concept of The Product

5V Microcontrollers for General Applications (with Multi-purpose Timers)
These microcontrollers incorporate an IGBT controller for driving magnetrons and multi-purpose timers (timer/counter + IGBT + PMD control). Also, they have multiple AD converters that are capable for high-speed conversion. We offer 5V Arm core-based microcontrollers, the 380 group of TX03 series, for general applications for controlling steam heaters, hot-air heaters, hot-air fan and cooling fan. TMPM380 is the 5V microcontrollers with Arm core for general applications, containing 40 MHz high-resolution multi-purpose timers (timer/counter + IGBT + PMD control). TMPM380 provided as a 100-pin package, controls three channels of IGBT using a multi-purpose timer.
5V 8-bit Microcontrollers
These microcontrollers incorporate the cutting-edge Flash technology, NANO FLASH™ to achieve high speed and low power consumption. TMP89FW20A and TMP89FW24A contain one channel of IGBT timer for driving magnetrons. They also contain LCD controllers for controlling operation and display panels.
