Is it OK to apply the input voltage following the application of an “on” signal to the CONTROL terminal?

If you need to apply the input voltage after the application of an “on” signal to the CONTROL terminal, use a load switch IC with an input-tolerant function. The input-tolerant function blocks the current flowing from the CONTROL terminal to the VIN terminal when the CONTROL terminal has higher voltage than the VIN terminal or when VIN = 0V. In the case of a load switch IC without an input-tolerant function, apply the CONTROL signal following the application of VIN.
