CCM PFC Control IC: TB6818FG

Features

The TB6818FG allows fast start-up while protecting the FET.
The start-up speed of a PFC control IC is a function of soft-start component values, but it is limited due to the need to protect the FET against damage.
The TB6818FG has a soft-start circuit synchronous to the rectified voltage. This offers the combination of FET protection and fast start-up.
Additionally, the TB6818FG helps reduce the humming noise emitted by the PFC transformer.
