Automotive Microcontrollers

The hardware solutions(VE*1, RDC*2, APMD*3) that incorporate Toshiba's motor control knowledge are embedded in our products. This solutions will contribute to greater power, smaller size, and higher efficiency to the system than ever before. In addition, random failures of microcomputers are constantly monitored without relying on software, by providing a hardware failure detection mechanism for each peripheral IP. While realizing real-time failure detection, it contributes to reducing the man-hours of software development for customers. These mechanisms help greatly in achieving the required ASIL level for the automotive system.
