Low power consumption

Optimized for low-power applications
We have developed and adopted various technologies for current reduction, including high-efficiency power supply circuits, to achieve industry-leading low power consumption. The TC3567x series, which is a Generation2 series, can be operated for more than five years in the CR2032 by reducing the peak current to 3.3mA (RX/TX), which is the world's top level. Meanwhile the Generation3 series TC3568x, which supports Bluetooth 5, has inherited this technique, and achieves a world-class link budget of 113dB, realizing both high transmission output and low power consumption at the same time.

Wide temperature range operation

With our circuit technology and high reliability, we offer products covering a wide range of operating temperatures, extending consumer applications from lighting to industrial and automotive applications. We have also added the TC35679IFTG for automotive products compliant with the AEC-Q100 [Note 1]-grade 2 standard for temperatures ranging from -40°C to 105°C.

Wide Temperature Range

Note 1: AEC-Q100

AEC is the acronym for Automotive Electronics Council. The AEC-Q100 standard, a reliability test standard for integrated circuits established by AEC, is widely adopted as a worldwide reliability standard for automobiles. The AEC-Q100 has a Grade 0 to 3 corresponding to the operating temperatures of the products.

  • Grade 0 : -40℃ to +150℃
  • Grade 1 : -40℃ to +125℃
  • Grade 2 : -40℃ to +105℃
  • Grade 3 : -40℃ to +85℃

Long-distance communication

Long-distance communication greatly expands the scope of applications, ranging from primary to tertiary industries. Electronic equipment can be sensed and controlled both indoors and outdoors at extending remote locations. The TC35680/681 achieves the 113dB link budget by transmitting 8dBm output power and LE Coded PHY which is an optional function in Bluetooth 5, and achieves communication distances (good visibility) greater than 600m.
