Induction cookers employ induction heating method. Alternating current converted by an inverter creates joule heat in the bottom of a cooking vessel, and it causes the cooking vessel itself to heat up. It is characterized by high heat efficiency, compared with stove burners. To control an inverter efficiently, IGBTs need to be controlled at high resolution and current control needs to be achieved with high precision. We offer microcontrollers incorporating multiple channels of IGBT control, because multiple heaters need to be controlled at a time to reduce cost.
