【2015年8月12日-台北訊】硬碟機領導品牌台灣東芝電子零組件股份有限公司於今日宣布推出三款採用NVMe™[1](Non-Volatile Memory Express)通信協定的PCIe®[2] (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express)固態硬碟產品(SSD),包含高性能筆記型電腦XG3 SSD系列;超薄筆記型電腦、二合一旋轉螢幕筆記型電腦、平板電腦BG1 SSD系列;伺服器及儲存應用PX04P SSD系列,符合使用者多元化應用的需求。此三款固態硬碟的產品線皆針對高性能及低潛時進行優化,並使用PCIe介面提供點對點與處理器連結,將能有效減少系統瓶頸(system bottlenecks)的發生。

TOSHIBA全新推出的NVMe、PCIe固態硬碟系列產品皆針對其目標客群,量身打造專屬的容量、優化規格及安全功能,其樣品預計將在2015年第四季上市。

高性能筆記型電腦 : XG3 SSD系列是業界M.2型2280規格的最大容量[1] (1024 GB[2])客戶端NVMe固態硬碟,專為高性能筆記型電腦、二合一及單體全備電腦設計。M.2型2280規格的XG3可支援高達四道的PCIe 3.1,其最大介面頻寬較SATA 6Gbits/s高出六倍以上[3]。此款同時也是業界第一個可用於2.5吋SATA標準規格中的固態磁碟。不僅如此,XG3 SSD系列配備了TOSHIBA的專有的QSBCTM[4] (Quadruple Swing-By Code)錯誤校正技術,為一高效率錯誤校正碼(ECC),能有效協助防止客戶資料損壞、提高可靠性,並延長TOSHIBA固態磁碟的壽命。不僅具備低功率狀態模式,專為電源效率而設計,此系列與BG1 SSD系列亦為TOSHIBA第一款能支援信賴運算組織Pyrite(TCG Pyrite)規範的產品。

超薄筆記型電腦及平板電腦 : BG1 SSD系列為目前世界上最小、適用於單一16mm x 20mm (M.2型1620)組件,或可拆式M.2型2230模組,且容量達256GB的NVMe固態磁碟[5]。專為超薄筆記型電腦、二合一旋轉螢幕筆記型電腦及平板電腦設計,此款不僅有利於讓電腦製造商生產輕薄電腦及平板電腦,其優異表現更為輕薄筆電提供了優於SATA固態的選擇。BG1 SSD系列亦支援TCG Pyrite並搭載低電源狀態模式。

伺服器和儲存設備 : PX04P SSD系列專為伺服器及儲存設備的可擴充電源及性能設定而設計。此款擁有在18瓦電力消耗水準下最高的性能表現,是目前業界最高執行的2.5吋NVMe固態磁碟[6],且其可擴充的電源/性能可低至12瓦。PX04P SSD系列支援多達四道的PCIe 3.0,並可以SFF-8639連接器用於HHHL(半高半長)添加卡或2.5吋規格上。PX04P固態硬碟系列同時配備TOSHIBA的QSBC錯誤校正技術。

TOSHIBA持續延伸其固態硬碟的產品陣容,以滿足使用者的多樣化需求,引領不斷成長之固態硬碟市場。
