Chinese ETC transponder systems are usually battery-operated. Thus the ICs in the systems are required low-current consumption and low-voltage operation. To reduce current consumption, the TC32168FTG incorporates a wakeup capability that wakes up a microcontroller only when it detects a signal from an ETC gate. Additionally, the TC32168FTG features low-voltage operation, quick boot, simultaneous two-channel standby mode and so on.
