High withstand voltage and low on -resistance MOSFET are suitable for PWM switching circuits of DC-DC converters. By keeping the low on-resistance, heat generation and current consumption can be minimized, and output loss can also be reduced. Toshiba's Power MOSFET Series uses high heat dissipation packages to further reduce heat generation.
In addition, when a single voltage is branched to some voltage line, voltage conversion must be performed, but a monitoring camera with high functionality is equipped with an MCU and a SoC for communication. These features are very sensitive to supply voltages, and in some cases the required performance for transient voltage changes is also high. Toshiba's LDO regulators deliver high performance with improved load transient response with minimal current consumption, enabling optimization of the power supply circuit.
Examples of typical recommended products are listed below, and also provide a link to the online distributor inventory search page to buy the product.
Toshiba has provided the Switched Mode Power Supply Library to support power supply designs such as DC-DC power supply. In addition, the Reference Design Center publishes examples of the design of various power supply circuits, providing design ideas for high efficiency in various power supply circuits. Both of them can be used free of charge, so please use them as a help in designing the power supply.
Switched Mode Power Supply Library
Easily select the optimal circuit and MOSFETs. Downloads circuit data that can be used in OrCAD®, LTspice® environments.
Reference Design Center
Releasing various reference designs that can be used for end equipment.
The set with low heat generation and low power consumption can be realized by using MOSFET with high dissipation efficiency and low on-resistance as a driver.
