In the aftermath of the January 1 major earthquake off the coast of Noto Peninsula, the emergency task force set up by Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation at its Kawasaki headquarters continues to assess the situation. 
We greatly appreciate the immense understanding and support extended to us by our customers, partner companies and all those affected by this incident.

• We have completed the repair of the exhaust pipes and other parts throughout the facility.
• We are gradually resuming production on the main lines. We continue toward our aim of restoring production capacity to a level close to that before the disaster by early February.
• We have also gradually resumed production on the other lines, and, as with the main lines, we aim to restore production capacity to a level close to that before the disaster by early February, not the middle of February as originally planned.
