Toshiba Electronics Europe Completes Merger with Toshiba Europe GmbH, Headquartered in Germany

Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH (“TEE”) today announced the completion of its merger with Toshiba Europe GmbH. The new organisation operates under the name Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH and is headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Following the merger, TEE’s established portfolio of semiconductor, hard disk drive and SCiB™ lithium-ion battery solutions now expands to include postal and banknote automation systems.

The organisation will also oversee the European Analytical Research and Planning Office; the Regenerative Innovation Centre based in Aachen, which pioneers technologies for the transition to carbon neutrality and a circular economy; and the New Business Hub, which identifies, incubates and commercialises new business opportunities across Europe, translating emerging technologies and market needs into solutions for customers and society.
