Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") has launched a photorelay, “TLP3406SRHA,” that features an OFF-state output terminal voltage of 30 V, and added it to the lineup of voltage drive photorelays that feature a maximum operating temperature rating of 125 °C and use the S-VSON4T package which has one of the smallest mounting area in the industry[1]. The lineup including the previously released five products[2] now offers OFF-state terminal voltages of 20 V, 30 V, and 60 V.
The new product, TLP3406SRHA, features an OFF-state terminal voltage of 30 V and an ON-state current rating of 1.5 A. The new product’s maximum operating temperature rating is 125 °C, allowing the product to be used under high temperature conditions. This also widens thermal margin of the equipment to be designed. In addition, this is a voltage drive product that has incorporated a resistor at the input side, requiring no external resistor. This helps reduce the required space on a circuit board, and allows increasing number of mountable photorelays.
TLP3406SRHA is suitable for applications that require many relays to be mounted on a circuit board of a limited size, such as semiconductor testers and probe cards.
