TOKYO—Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation today released the English edition of Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Environmental Report 2018. Published annually, the report provides stakeholders and interested parties with detailed information on the company’s environmental management, policies and practices.
The coverage of the 2018 report includes top management’s commitment to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through business activities, and initiatives taken to realize Toshiba Group’s medium-term environmental targets under The Sixth Environmental Action Plan.
The report also covers environmental activities rooted in local communities, among them environmental briefing sessions and biodiversity conservation work, and projects that won an excellence award and an encouragement award in the “2017 Excellent Enterprise Awards for Environmental Human Resources Development”, sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and the Environmental Consortium for Leadership Development
