The release of the Toshiba MG10 22TB Hard Drive has been a milestone within the HDD technology evolution and in the age of AI latest state-of-the-art technology will be used to satisfy the demand for storage with even higher capacities. In his CloudFest presentation 2024, Rainer Kaese will

- discuss the technical and commercial driving forces to predict future developments
About the speaker
Rainer Kaese has been with Toshiba for 30 years. He initially specialized in application specific integrated circuits, managing the Design Centre for ASIC, and later the Business Development Team, as well as Foundry Products.
He is currently responsible for the introduction and qualification of Toshiba’s Enterprise HDD products into Datacentres, Cloud Computing and Enterprise applications.
