We received the Energy Conservation Center Chairman's Award in the energy conservation case study category for its energy conservation activities by optimizing steam supply within the works.

Theme: Energy-saving activities through optimization of steam supply in the operations
The Oita-Operations manufactures analog semiconductors for in-vehicle use and is a designated Type 1 energy management factory, using 80,241 kiloliters of energy per year in crude oil equivalent. Since electricity accounts for more than 90% of the energy used, energy-saving efforts have been focused on reducing electricity consumption, but this time, energy-saving efforts are being focused on city gas consumption, which is equivalent to 5,689 kiloliters of crude oil per year.
