Our corporate group is conducting a variety of education on the environment, primarily at manufacturing sites both domestic and overseas, to children, who are our future generations.
Latest news "January 11, 2024 - Organized by Japan Semiconductor Iwate Operations." Visiting Lecture on Semiconductor Environment
A visiting lectures on the semiconductor and environment was organized at the Iide Community Center in Murasakino-shi, Kitakami City. Children who attended the lectures deepened their understanding of the roles and mechanisms of semiconductors by actually touching electronic components and working on circuit construction. They also learned that semiconductors help solve social and environmental issues.
Class participants: 23 (mainly from Iitoyo Elementary School, but also elementary school students from Hanamaki City participated)

Japan Semiconductor Corporation Oita-Operations organized visiting lectures for students at a nearby elementary school to learn about the functions of semiconductors. They learned about the history and structure of semiconductors and their contribution to energy-saving, and experienced circuit construction.
Lectures participants: Approx. 55 students
Semiconductor Environmental Education for Elementary School Students
In this hands-on lecture, students will learn about semiconductors, which are used in many of the electrical products that surround us and are indispensable for the use of electricity.
In the lecture, students will deepen their knowledge through hands-on activities such as circuit construction using semiconductors, and also think about how semiconductors help solve our daily life and environmental issues, while introducing the latest efforts in the manufacturing field.
