With the goal of “contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through environmental management which aims to create enriched value and to ensure harmony with the earth,” the Environmental Future Vision 2050 aims to realize a sustainable society—in other words, a decarbonized society, a resource circulating society, and a society in harmony with nature.

The 8th Environmental Action Plan
To achieve our long-term environmental vision, we have formulated the "Environmental Action Plan," setting and managing specific environmental activity items and their target values. Based on the "Environmental Future Vision 2050," we have now formulated the "8th Environmental Action Plan" for the activity period from 2024 to 2026. The "8th Environmental Action Plan" sets eight goals centered on three activity areas that are key issues (materiality) for the Toshiba Group: "Response to Climate Change," "Response to the Circular Economy," and "Consideration for Ecosystems." By developing and deepening activities in line with these goals, we aim to realize our long-term vision and contribute to solving various social issues to achieve a sustainable society.
