Toshiba Information Equipment (Philippines), Inc. (TIP)


TIP has begun its operations in 1996, since then we at TIP have worked with our local staff to produce highly valued products sent from the Philippines to all over the world. We have also taken an active part in environmental and regional CSR activities. Currently, our three manufacturing sites each manufacture distinguished product.

August, 2014 ISO 14001 (EMS)
We renewed our Environmental Management System certification.
April, 2014 Mother Nature Award
Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI) awarded us with the Mother Nature Award in recognition of our operating a sound Environmental Management System and related programs, and possessing a sterling track record of community-related undertakings, in the promotion of environment protection.
March, 2014 TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Excellence Award (Category A)
The TPM Excellence Award is given by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JPIM) as a recognition of results accelerating research and development of maintenance technologies (TPM, related management technologies, and unique technologies) for manufacturing plants. TIP workplaces received the TPM Excellence Award (Category A) for developing activities that focus on the eight pillars of TPM, showing tangible and intangible results, and establishing a foundation for TPM activities.
September, 2013 ASEAN Energy Awards (AEA)
The ASEAN Center for Energy (ACE) gives the ASEAN Energy Award to groups and individuals in recognition of their significant results and contributions in energy efficient buildings, projects, and management. TIP received another prize from AEA 2011.
March, 2013 ISO 22301 (BCMS)
TIP was the first overseas affiliate of Toshiba to obtain business continuity management system (BCMS) certification.
December, 2012 Safety Milestone (SMILE) of 17 Million Safety Hours
Safety Milestone is an encouragement award given by the Philippines' Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to companies that have implemented excellent safety systems with no accidents accompanied by lost worktime during a certain period of time. In December 2013, TIP was recognized for achieving 17 million safety hours.
