Toshiba Camera Interface Bridge ICs enable high speed transfer of camera image data to support high camera resolutions. As new advancements in digital camera technology occur, camera interface bridge ICs must also be up to par with camera image data transfer. The MIPI® CSI-2 to Parallel port and Parallel port to CSI-2 is a bridge device that converts MIPI data transfers from devices such as a camera to an application processor over a Parallel port interface. All internal registers can be access through I2C or SPI (in CSI out case only).

Product Features:
 - MIPI CSI-2 compliant
 - Configurable to TX or RX controller
 - Supports up to 1Gbps per data lane
 - Supports up to 4 data lanes
 - Supports video data formats
 - Clock and power management support to achieve low power states
 - SPI interface support for up to 25 MHz operation

The Bridge Chip may function in Parallel Port to CSI-2 TX configuration, functioning as parallel port to MIPI converter. This configuration allows for mobile analog TV, telepresence or mobile phone specialty camera data to be transferred to an application processor or baseband. Toshiba Bridge Chip provides a low power solution to efficiently translate serial transfers to parallel transfers in CSI-2 RX to Parallel Port Configuration as well. This configuration allows for the transfer of camera data between the camera to the application-specific integrated circuit (Asic). Toshiba Bridge IC supports MIPI and Parallel interface for smooth, quick data transfer between input and output devices.
