Video Processors
Video processing ICs for automotive display systems. Support video signal processing as a companion chip for SoC. In addition to one chip IC which is adapted KT Act (*), Toshiba has some of accessory devices specialized in picture quality adjustment. These devices have stable synchronization performance when switching video, and rich image quality adjustment to improve the visibility of in-vehicle camera.
(*) NHTSA（National Highway Traffic Safety Agency) made a legal obligation to car maker to install automotive rear camera at May 2018
The purpose of it is to reduce fatal and injury accidents, and after setting the R gear, it must display the rear view within 2 seconds.
