Stepping Motor Driver ICs

Accurate position control achieved by stepping motors are being used in many applications.
But in order to overcome the motor from stalling, stepping motors tend to require additional current.
Therefore many engineers and users are looking for an optimized stepping motor control.
Toshiba developed an unique architecutre called "Active Gain Control" to overcome those requirements, and have implemeted to some of the latest products.
