High-side and low-side switch products

Making these circuits monolithically IPDs using fine BiCD processes

Our high-side switch and low-side switch products are the most suitable power ICs for applications such as relay-driven, solenoid-driven, and power-supply switches that employ fine BiCD processes. In addition to overcurrent protection and overheat protection, a diagnostic output function for outputting diagnostic signals to the MCU in the event of an error is built-in, which contributes to improved safety of the system.

When the switching unit is composed of discrete components, diodes, operational amplifiers, and logic ICs are required as protective circuits in addition to the MOSFET. By making these circuits monolithic IPDs using fine BiCD processes, total costs can be reduced, mounting area can be reduced, and reliability can be improved.
