Generally, LDO regulators have a pulldown resistor between the CONTROL and GND pins so that their internal circuitry remains stable in the event of the CONTROL pin being open-circuited.
However, our LDO regulators have a MOSFET instead of a resistor as shown in Figure 1 in order to reduce control pulldown current (ICT). This MOSFET pulls down the CONTROL pin to GND with an almost constant current sink.
