How should I select a bus switch?

Firstly, please select a general-purpose bus switch or a high-speed bus switch according to the communication speed and communication standard of the signal you want to switch. For general-purpose bus switches, you can select the appropriate series based on power supply voltage, circuit configuration (SPST, SPDT, SP4T, etc.), and number of circuits (number of channels). In the case of high-speed bus switches, the appropriate series can be selected based on communication speed, circuit configuration, and number of circuits (number of channels).

The selection steps are explained in (1) to (3).

(1) Based on Table-1, select a general-purpose bus switch or a high-speed bus switch according to the communication speed and communication standard of the signal you want to switch.

(2)  In case of general purpose bus switches
First, select a single power supply (low voltage, 5 V system) or a dual power supply level shift type for voltage conversion (level shift).
After that, you can select the bus switch that suits your application by selecting the switch configuration (SPST, SPDT, etc.), supply voltage, and number of bits.

(3)  How to select High speed bus switch
You can select a bus switch suitable for your application based on communication speed, communication standard, circuit configuration, and number of circuits.
SPDTs that switch signals are mainly used.
