Automotive CXPI Communication Application Circuit B (Door Mirror Drive Board / CXPI Responder Node)

CXPI, a next‑generation automotive communication protocol, delivers low cost and high responsiveness to support efficient control of various in‑vehicle functions.
This reference design represents an example of a responder node for in-vehicle CXPI communication, implemented as a door mirror control board equipped with a CXPI interface.
The CXPI interface IC TB9033FTG is adopted, and in combination with a Motor Control Driver (MCD) and external MOSFETs, the design enables control of multiple motors integrated in the door mirror as well as the Blinker.

Features

  • Supports next‑generation in‑vehicle communication protocol CXPI (ISO 20794‑2~4, ISO 14229‑8).
  • Equipped with a CXPI interface IC featuring 16‑channel GPIO, supporting PWM output, AD input switching, and various I/O control functions.
  • Uses two types of automotive motor drivers; by combining GPIO PWM and H/L control signals, up to three motors can be driven flexibly and with high precision.
  • Drives turn indicators efficiently using N‑channel MOSFETs controlled by GPIO PWM signals, enabling adjustable lighting patterns and brightness.
  • Outer dimensions: 100mm × 100mm
