Can eFuse IC (electronic fuse) be used for hot-swap (hot-line insertion/extraction)?

eFuse IC can use for hot-swap/hot-plug.
Furthermore, the protection performance can be improved by combining the eFuse IC and the Zener diode.

The connectors of USB and HDMI® are plugged in and unplugged while the terminals are power on.
In addition, servers and storage systems such as data centers cannot be powered off when a failed board or HDD is replaced.
eFuse IC protects the system from overcurrents and overvoltages that occur when hot-swap/hot-plug do.
