Thermoflagger™ provides a simple solution for detecting overtemperature conditions in conjunction with PTC thermistors.
Thermoflagger™ outputs the FLAG signal when it detects a change in the characteristics of a PTC thermistor.
Since multiple PTC thermistors can be connected in series with Thermoflagger™, it can monitor multiple locations for overtemperature conditions.
Thermoflagger™ allows you to realize overtemperature detection easily.
A PTC thermistor is a type of electronic device whose resistance increases dramatically when its temperature exceeds a certain point.

[Note 1] PTCO output current is a constant current supplied from Thermoflagger™ to the PTC thermistor.
[Note 2] When Thermoflagger™ detects an abnormality, it outputs a FLAG signal. The push-pull type consists of two MOSFETs stacked vertically, and the output current can flow in either direction. The open-drain type consists of one MOSFET, and the output current can only flow in one direction.
