Fast load transient response performance

Fast load transient response (Output current: 0mA→500mA→0mA)

The load transient response performance is defined as the response performance to a sudden change in the load current. For its LDO regulators, Toshiba has improved the bandwidth of the built-in feedback circuits and optimized the power MOSFET for switches, resulting in faster response performance compared with other companies’ products.

Toshiba's 1.5A LDO TCR15AG12 has an ultra-fast load transient response that is approximately one-third that of competitors’ products, as assessed under the same conditions as competitors. This load transient response is achieved by using circuit technology that adjusts the speed of the feedback loop with an optimal balance with low dropout characteristics. The high-speed load transient response is a feature not only of this product but also of other Toshiba products.
