Ultra-low Quiescent current

Quiescent current
Quiescent current

Low quiescent current means low current consumption inside the LDO.
The need for low quiescent current is by no means restricted to mobile devices. Toshiba’s lineup of LDO regulators offering low current consumption by current rating can contribute to long-term operation of equipment by keeping the power consumption of the LDO itself low.

Toshiba TCR3U series of ultra-low-current LDO regulators has a bypass mode that keeps current consumption low even at low input voltages compared to the TCR2L series of conventional products. This function makes it possible to maintain low current consumption even when the input voltage drops due to battery degradation, which cannot be realized by the conventional simple low-current LDO, thereby contributing as much as possible to long-term operation of equipment.
