1-Channel Brushed DC Motor Driver IC: TB9051FTG

DC motor driver IC in a small package that is capable of controlling the throttle and other valves of a vehicle engine

The TB9051FTG is housed in a small QFN package (measuring 6 mm × 6 mm) and contributes to reducing the size of electronic control units (ECUs). The output stage has a low-on-resistance H-bridge that consists of P-channel and N-channel DMOS transistors. This eliminates the need for a charge pump and thus helps reduce noise and power consumption. To ensure functional safety, the supply voltage monitoring circuit performs initial diagnosis of each on-chip comparator. Applications of the TB9051FTG include opening and closing engine throttle and other valves; retracting electric door mirrors; and seat, rear door open/close and other applications that conduct current
exceeding 3 A.

H-bridge pre-driver IC designed for high-current applications such as electric power steering (EPS)

3-phase BLDC Motor Pre-driver IC for Sine Wave Current Control: TB9080FG

This motor driver designed to allow silent motor operation, which is increasingly required to offer a quiet cabin fro HEVs and EVs and during idling stop.

The TB9080FG drives a motor with a sine wave current to deliver smooth and quiet motor operation. Additionally, it offers automatic lead angle control to improve drive efficiency. It is recognized the target rpm of a motor from either the PWM duty signal or dc voltage. It then provides feedback control to match the actual rpm calculated from the motor's Hall signals to the target rpm.

Applications: Include air-conditioner blower motors, battery cooling fans and so on.
