Processing capabilities equivalent to 16-bit microcontrollers, with memory address space extendable up to 128 Kbytes.
TLCS™-870/C1 Series delivers processing capabilities equivalent to 16-bit microcontrollers, along with a memory address space extendable up to 128 Kbytes.
TLCS™-870/C1E Series, the addition to the TLCS™ Family, employs Flash memory with a new structure that enhances long-term performance.

Product feature

TLCS™-870/C1 Series

Capacity equivalent to 16-bit microcontrollers and address space up to 128K bytes

TLCS™-870/C1 series-8-bit microcontroller provides high-speed processing equivalent to 16-bit processing. TLCS™-870/C1 series has achieved high-speed operation at low-frequency by operating with one instruction cycle and one clock. This microcontroller uses a unique segmentation method to extend the address space up to 128K bytes.

TLCS™-870/C1E Series

Inherited from TLCS™-870/C1 series. Equipped with a new type of Flash memory-

The newly developed TLCS™-870/C1E Series is an entry class microcontroller that inherits our 8-bit original core. The TLCS™-870/C1E series is equipped with the new SONOS(*) flash memory technology, which provides excellent write/erase endurance and data retention characteristics, making it applicable to systems that require high reliability. In recent years, the Internet of Things (IoT) has been advancing in industrial and consumer devices, and this series has achieved the reduction in power consumption required of microcontrollers controlling such devices.

(NOTE) SONOS type: SONOS stands for "Silicon Oxide Nitride Oxide Silicon" which represents a semi-conductor construction.
