Are there Mux (multiplexer) / De-Mux (demultiplexer) type bus switches supporting PCIe® Gen 5.0, PCIe® Gen 4.0, Thunderbolt™ 4, USB4®?

For a bus switch to support these communication interfaces, it must have high-frequency characteristics sufficient for their communication speeds. Toshiba product TDS4A212MX, TDS4B212MX support these interfaces.

Both TDS4A212MX and TDS4B212MX support PCIe®*1 Gen 5.0, PCIe®*1 Gen 4.0, Thunderbolt™*4 and USB4®*3 and have the same functional and identical packaging with differing pinouts.

The features of each pin arrangement are described below.

TDS4A212MX maintains the input-differential-pair positional relationship in its pinout. Therefore, the wiring does not cross in the layout shown in Fig. 2.
The TDS4B212MX has a shorter internal wiring pin layout to reduce signal attenuation. Therefore, it has higher high-frequency characteristics than the TDS4A212MX.
