Motor microcontroller for 3 motors synchronous control at 160-MHz drive

  • Arm Cortex-M4 core with FPU, operating at up to 160MHz
    • Based on the industry de facto standard Arm Cortex-M core.
  • Wide range of memory and package lineup
    • 128 to 1024KB code flash and 32KB data flash with 100k write cycles endurance
    • the Products within 1MB code flash allows instructions to be read from one area, while the updated code is programmed into the other area in parallel by two separate areas of 512KB.
    • 24 to 64KB SRAM
    • Package line-up (64 to 100pin)
  • variety of motor control applications including both home appliances and industrial equipment
    • 2.7 to 5.5V supply and -40 to 105C operating temperature
    • Self-diagnosis functions supporting functional safety certification according to various standards (IEC 60730 class B and others)
  • Capable of 3-motor control
    160-MHz drive CPU and 3 AD converters, 3 advanced programmable motor control circuits (A-PMD),  and evolved vector engine "advanced vector engine plus (A-VE+)" for motor control are incorporated,  enabling realizing 3-motor control even in the 64-pin class.
  • Incorporating high-resolution advanced encoder (A-ENC32) suitable for AC servo motor
    The A-ENC32 circuit allows direct input of the signals of an incremental encoder and a hole sensor. Moreover, the accuracy of the position detection angle is improved by setting 32-bit width of encoder count values. Therefore, this circuit can control the servo motor control.
  • Built-in high-speed oscillator, equipped with oscillation accuracy +/-1% (operating temperature -40 to 105C)
    By improving the oscillation accuracy, the number of parts can be reduced by eliminating the need for an external oscillator.
  • Both code flash and data flash are rewritable up to 100,000 times
  • A wide line-up of package variations 5 package line-up is provided, covering from small scale application (64-pin) to high-end application (100-pin).
