Description

Description The TMPM4L Group is a microcontroller for single-motor control applications, featuring an Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with an FPU and operating at up to 80 MHz.
It integrates 256 KB or 128 KB of code flash memory, 64 KB of data flash memory[1], and 36 KB of RAM. The product lineup includes four package options ranging from 44 to 64 pins.
The devices incorporate dedicated motor-control hardware, including the Advanced Vector Engine 2 (A-VE2), Advanced Programmable Motor Driver Circuit 2 (A-PMD2), Advanced Encoder Input Circuit 2 (A-ENC2), and a 12-bit ADC, to support motor control processing. These features help achieve highly efficient and precise single-motor control while reducing CPU load.
For enhanced security, the TMPM4L Group incorporates Chip Protection (CPRO), Secure Access Memory (SAM), and Non-Releasable Flash Protection (NRFP). These features contribute to improved system reliability in a wide range of applications, including IoT devices.
In addition, the devices provide general-purpose communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C, as well as a Serial Memory Interface (SMIF) for external memory connectivity.
Supporting an operating voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, the TMPM4L Group also features a built-in high-speed oscillator with ±1% accuracy. This eliminates the need for external oscillator components and helps reduce the overall component count.
Furthermore, the devices support low-power battery-operated applications through the implementation of the STOP2 low-power mode.
