1-3. Classification of Brushless Motors
Brushless DC motors and permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) have basically the same structures. However, Brushless DC motors are both a family (including PMSM and Stepper motors) and a motor type on its own.
We classified motors according to their rotation methods as follows.
