Toshiba started to release one-gate logic (L-MOS) for the first time in the industry in the latter half of the 1980s.
L-MOS contains a small number of logic circuits (1 to 3) and is available in various packages with a small number of pins (5 to 8 pins) from industry standard general-purpose packages to ultra-small packages. L-MOS provides flexibility against logic mistakes in circuit design, and contributes to the miniaturization of designs in a multitude of applications.
Toshiba offer a wide range of L-MOS products, from the standard TC4S / 4W series which guarantees operation at high power supply voltages (~ 18V), to the high-speed 7UL series which guarantees operation at 0.9V.
